My paintings

The shown motives belong altogether to thirty-five pictures. I make the frames by myself using garbage-frames which I take out of the container of a wholesale with permission. Sometimes it lasted three quarters of a year until I have found four equal frame pieces. Then I saw them in suitable length.

These garbage of frames and end-pieces of frames are new or not accepted pieces of the customers because the quality is not so good as they wish. For example the frames have scratches or they are drilled or the form and colour is different or they are cracked. These Europe - paintings are a material way to peace in this kind of form.

In the following text harder, deeper, less clear - more information more questions - for those who enjoy literature. Once in the week I climb into the waste container of a wholesale, sometimes with a tie around my neck, searching for wasted frames between the trash of kitchens and gardens and debris of buildings. Often it takes one hour of working until I reach the bottom of the container.

What I am doing here? I am preserving and protecting the environment because the frames I use will not reach a garbage plant to be burned, and so our breathing air and of all vegetable life and animals will not be poisoned. "Thanks" from nature to you. You are causing a lucky life by your affection for the preserve of our nature and by your mental care for our consciousness to us and our children and next life on earth.

Also the master-keys are paste-boards from the waste.

New materials are the reliefs I make by lime ,which is three times harder than porcelain, and the water colors which I use to paint the pictures. If there are not enough garbage frames in the container I buy new one additional. Therefore the result is two different prices.

Depending on the motive of the picture, I am working one to one and a half hour to make a picture with frame: driving to the wholesaler, taking the frame parts out of the trash, cleaning, sorting, storing till four equal and long enough frame pieces are together, measuring, 45 grades sawing, sticking and if the frames are natural wood remaining them as they are or staining them in one or more color.

Selecting master-keys in suitable colors and cutting them in suitable sizes.

Stirring the lime, pouring it in the moulds, after hardening drying in the air or on the heating in my home. Then I paint the pictures on the touching reliefs at the street in the city Trier, Germany or anywhere else. Measuring the place for the hook on the backside of the frame. Stroking with the hammer the nails for the hook into the frame or pressing the nails with my pair of tongs into the wood if it is enough smooth. Putting together the master-key, frame and colored-touch-relief by my sense of proportion in harmonic positions. Writing the name of the picture and the year of coloring the relief and my signature on the master-key. An example:

because my painted clouds are man-made, painted as I imagine them, these clouds could be suspended elsewhere and so sometimes it happens that there is a different city-name below the painted relief according to the wish of the customer. And the date of year? This is sometimes different, too. These attributes are not changing the motive formulating peace as a global quality of life in the form of a next higher level of civilization even enriching this way.

The size of the lime relief is about 9 cm x 13 cm (3.5 x 5 inch), the size of the picture with frame about 20 cm x 22.5 cm (8 x 9 inch).

The price with a recycled frame chosen by myself is 25 Euro plus postage, and if you choose the frame I will buy it for you the price is 50 Euro plus postage.

The measurement of the first paintings of these lime reliefs is 185 cm x 150 cm (73 x 50 inch). I paint them in each size as you wish. The price is negotiable.
